Revealed: the four Fiorentina players of AC Milan’s watchlist

According to Sky Italia, AC Milan’s director of sport Massimiliano Mirabelli will be in Florence tomorrow to watch Europa League clash Fiorentina-PAOK. The rossoneri are planning to make major investments over the next transfer windows to strengthen the team and return among Serie A title contenders after many years.

New Chinese owners are going to bring fresh cash for the San Siro outfit and Mirabelli is already taking notes of potential new signings.

The Italian broadcasters also report the names on Mirabelli’s agenda and there are some surprising names among them.

The likes of Milan Badelj and Federico Bernardeschi are known to be long time targets of the Serie A giants. On the one hand, the Croat is not going to extend his stay at the club beyond 2018, which means Fiorentina have not much time to monetize his exit. On the other hand, Bernardeschi is a transfer target of Inter and Chelsea as well and Fiorentina boss Paulo Sousa said today that he’s destined to leave the club to join a bigger and more ambitious side than Fiorentina.

Uruguay International Matias Vecino is also said to be on AC Milan’s watchlist alongside Croatian striker Nikola Kalinic. Both players were wanted by Napoli last summer, but LaViola rejected all the approaches for their stars. Will Chinese’s money be more persuading that Napoli’s?
