Revealed: The player Juve scouts were watching at Bayern-Benfica

Juventus had scouts present at the Champions League game between Bayern Munich and Benfica, watching on as the Bavarian club routed the Portuguese side on Tuesday night.
 
The thought is that, primarily, Juventus were watching Benfica’s Spanish full-back Alex Grimaldo, perhaps as they potentially seek a replacement for Juve left-back Alex Sandro, who has been linked with a move to PSG or Manchester United, as well as coming to a contract stalemate in the negotiations with the Bianconeri.
 
However, it is now also said that Juve’s scouts were very impressed with starlet Gedson Fernandes, the 19-year-old hot-shot that scored after just 40 seconds on the field against Bayern.
