Roma, confirmed injury for Pellegrini: will return in 2019

After undergoing several tests at Villa Stuart, it has been concluded that Roma's Lorenzo Pellegrini will be in the stands until 2019.

In fact, during the tests, a new injury was discovered. However, this one was not in the same muscle he had previously injured, but rather a blow to his quadriceps in the same leg.

It is believed that he will rest for 3-4 weeks, which means that he can't return until next year.  The injury occurred during Wednesday's training session, which was Pellegrini's first training with the squad after returning from another injury.

In total, Roma have had around 20 muscular stops since the beginning of August, which will certainly concern the club. Di Francesco, who's already lost the likes of Dzeko and El Shaarawy, will have to do without Pellegrini against Cagliari, Plzen, Genoa, Juventus, Sassuolo and Parma.
