Roma have come up with a Plan B if they fail to sign either Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus or Mauro Icardi from Inter. According to Bild yesterday, the Giallorossi are monitoring Timo Werner, the 23-year-old German international. The player’s contract with RB Leipzig in 2020, but he has no intention of signing a renewal, leaving the door open for the Roman club to come in and make an offer for the striker.
