Roma-Juve: match facts and CR7's potential record

Roma and Juventus will face off tonight at the Stadio Olimpico in a Serie A classic and the official website of the Bianconeri presented some interesting facts and statistics ahead of the match:

1. Roma and Juve have faced each other 170 times in Serie A: The Bianconeri have won 81 times against the Giallorossi's 39 successes, with 49 matches ending with a draw.

2. Roma have not scored against Juventus in the last 5 out of 6 matches between the team, including the last three matches. Only once did the Giallorossi fail to score in four straight matches against Juve, between 1948 and 1949.

3. At the Stadio Olimpico, however, Roma have lost just one in their last seven home matches in Serie A against Juve (3 W, 3 D) and are unbeaten in the last four.

4. Roma have recorded just 59 points in the ongoing Serie A campaign. This is the worst season for the Giallorossi at this stage since 2013/13 (58 points from 35 matches).

5. The team from the capital has not conceded a goal in its last two home matches. This is the first time since 2014 that they have kept a clean sheet in back-to-back games.

6. Juventus have drawn their last two Serie A matches: they have not reached three in a row in Serie A since March 2012 (four). They have also not gone without a league win in three games since May 2017, when the Bianconeri lost its third match against Roma at the Olimpico.

7. Juventus found the goal in 97% of the matches played in this Serie A (34 out of 35) - only PSG have done better in the five major European leagues in the 2018/19 season (100% - 35 out of 35).

8. Cristiano Ronaldo has scored against 14 different teams in this league (no goal against Roma): the only two players in Serie A history to find the net against 15 different teams in their debut season in the top league were John Charles (1957/58) and Ronaldo (1997/98).
