Roma: Karsdorp torn ACL in his debut, out at least 4 months

Immediately after their 1-0 victory over Crotone on Wednesday night, Romans awoke to the awful news that Rick Karsdorp tore the ACL in his left knee. The Dutch wingback made his debut for the Giallorossi and played 80 strong minutes after recovering from surgery on his right knee to repair a meniscus four months ago.

The Karsdorp injury represents the 10th torn ACL by Roma players in the last 18 months. It’s estimated he’ll be out four to six months now.
