Roma have almost certainly secured the services of Brazilian midfielder Marquinho but are waiting to sell David Pizarro before confirming the deal.

The Fluminense player is expected to join the Giallorossi on loan although Director Walter Sabatini did not appreciate the rumours concerning this deal.

“We would have completed this deal quietly but the news spread around,” said Sabatini.

“We still think to have everything under control. Luis Enrique asked us to reduced the number of squad players and I wouldn’t want to do the contrary. We need to preserve a good atmosphere in the dressing room.”

Meanwhile, Pizarro claims he would love to stay in Rome but Luis Enrique was also clear about that: for the Chilean there is no space in Trigoria.
