Roma meet Sassuolo over Tottenham and Leicester City target
According to a report of Sky Sport, AS Roma’s DS Monchi is in Milan where he is currently having a meeting with representatives of Sassuolo.
New AS Roma boss Di Francesco would love to have a reunion with both Defrel and Domenico Berardi, two of his former players at Sassuolo. The Frenchman, however, is way less expensive given that the giallorossi hope to finalize his transfer for € 16 million, whilst Berardi’s price-tag is set to € 50 million.
The former Cesena ace has already agreed personal terms with AS Roma and is pushing for his move to the Italian capital to finally happen. The 26-year-old is one of AS Roma summer transfer priorities with the giallorossi who are desperate to sign a replacement for Liverpool star Mohammed Salah.
