Roma news: Atletico serious about Kolarov – the details

According to Spanish web portal El Gol Digital, Atletico Madrid are insisting on a move for Roma’s veteran Serbian left-back Aleksandar Kolarov. The reports suggest that Atletico boss Diego Simeone is a big fan of the full-back and would like to bring him to the Spanish capital.

Kolarov’s demands are supposedly a deal similar to what he earns at Roma, as well as assurances that he will play a key role in the team. Kolarov does not want to be a substitute and, given that his current contract expires in 2020, could consider his future next summer – Roma keen not to let him go at short-notice in January.
