Roma continue to work for January reinforcements for their attack. With Mo Salah away on Africa Cup of Nations duty with Egypt in the new year, the player that has been at the top of the giallorossi’s wish-list is PSG’s Jese.
 

The 23-year-old Spaniard has found first-team chances limited in the French capital and could be seeking an exit after the winter break. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Parisians are keen to do business with Roma but on a player exchange involving German defender Antonio Rudiger. The 23-year-old has also been a long term target for Chelsea but this week his agent announced he was happy with life in the Eternal City.  

Jese arrived in Paris for €25 million last summer and are believed to have already rejected any proposals from the Italians for an initial loan-deal with a view to a permanent move next summer. Now they will try to tempt Roma to part with their highly-rated defender.
