Roma, Ranieri: 'We'll try to stop AC Milan'

    • GM

"We'll try to stop AC Milan, Italy will support us". These are Claudio Ranieri's words at a press conference on the eve of the Serie A match against Milan.

"Clearly, if we have a 10-point gap with Milan, we deserve it - Ranieri said -  However, we shouldn't give up, let's understand our mistakes with the objective to do better than last season. We had ups and downs, but I cannot blame the team".

"We had more points than anybody else in 2010. That means that we did well. But we are not happy, we want to improve. We'll play against a very good team. Milan is aggressive, they press well and are also fast. Allegri changed the team, they lead the table and they deserve it. Ibrahimovic and Robinho are flexible in the attack and make space for those who arrive from behind".

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the most dangerous player: "A cage for him? We'd need a big cage.... Vucinic? He's got muscular problems, he's really disappointed".

On Adriano: "Adriano told me that he's fine, he's been called and he could play",
