Roma shopping for Barca, Real Madrid reserves
The Spanish outlet confirm that the Giallorossi are looking for two Barcelona and Real Madrid reserves, including recent Blaugrana acquisition Denis Suarez.
Sporting director Monchi is known for finding diamonds in the rough, and is also after Mariano Diaz, who has not started a game this season for the Merengues but is considered to be one of the most promising players that Real have in the pipeline.
Mariano is known for his physical prowess, powerful shot and huge frame. At 23, he’s not been able to break through at the professional level, though he’s managed one goal and added another assists in Liga play.
It hasn’t been the happiest time for Denis Suarez, either, the Barcelona youngster being acquired back last summer for € 3.3 million from Villareal, where he’d enjoyed a strong campaign in 2015/2016, scoring four Liga goals and adding as many assists.
