Roma skipper De Rossi: 'I dream of being a coach someday'

AS Roma star and captain Daniele de Rossi has said that he dreams of being a coach someday, but it will be a tough job for him to do.

The 35-year-old has been at the club since the year 2000 and has appeared around 600 times for the giallorossi. This season, the Italian has made nine appearances for the club, assisting once.

De Rossi was recently talking to DAZN and he talked about his possible future as a manager. He said:  "I have this dream of being a coach and if I have to think about all the things a coach has to do, the thing that scares me most is having to do 100 interviews a week.

"A coach is nice, but it's a big job. He is a master just because he never had the ambition to become the new Guardiola, Sacchi or Mourinho.

"I can learn many things from them, even as you are in the world every day. I do not know if I will be able to but I will travel and study to learn."

Roma are enduring a disappointing season so far as they are currently at seventh in the league.
