Roma star sent home from national team duty with groin injury

Star midfielder Radja Nainggolan sustained a rupture to the right side of his groin during Belgian national team training. The Roma hero will not play against Mexico nor Japan, and his status for his club’s titanic clashes against Lazio and Atletico Madrid is in doubt.

Due to the nature of his injury and his club situation, Belgian doctors have been in contact with those from Roma. Further tests will be run on “Ninja” to determine the recovery time.
