Serie A giants Roma are reportedly still keen on signing Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld and haven't given up on the Belgian as yet.

Alderweireld joined Spurs in the summer of 2015 from Atletico Madrid, a season after he had spent an impressive loan-stint at Southampton. Since then, he has become one of the Premier League's best defenders and helped Tottenham reach the Champions League final last season.
