Francesco Totti has moved to defend Roma captain Daniele De Rossi, after his sending off against Genoa drew a lot of criticism from fans and columnists alike. Totti defended his former teammate on Twitter by saying: “Everyone has the right to be wrong. Daniele was wrong yesterday, and he knows that. But no one can question what he has done and what he will do for Roma: he is our captain. Now back to work all together, starting right now.”
