    EXCLUSIVE: will Lafont become Buffon's heir?

    Despite the recent negative performances and the consequent criticism, Juventus are backing their goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. However, the bianconeri are already seeking the heir of the 2006 World Champion, whose contract will expire in June 2018, when he could end his terrific career by playing the World Cup with the Italian national team.

    It won’t be of course an easy task for the Serie A defending champions: should they try to sign a high rated shot stopper, or a promise like AC Milan 17-year-old Gianluigi Donnarumma?

    The latter is a target for the Piedmont’s club indeed, but his future depends from the rossoneri’s new owners and from his agent Mino Raiola. Meanwhile, the Piedmont’s club is tracking Toulouse 18-year-old Alban Lafont. The Burkinabe join his current club in 2014, and last year he became a starter. Juve have been scouting him in many occasions, the last one during the match against Paris Saint-Germain.
