There's no two without three. After already clinching the official purchases of Mexican center midfielder Hector Moreno (PSV Eindhoven) and Dutch defender Rick Karsdorp (Feyenoord), Roma also moves on the market in France. A deal is reportedly practically done for the arrival of 28 year old Frenchman Maxime Gonalons from Lyon. From the same club who, in the last January market the Giallorossi had taken his fellow countryman Clement Grenier, now the clubs are finishing the details on the negotiation table for another player.

THE LEADS - Sky gives figures for the deal, with the Italian club ready to pay 5 million EUR for the player (3 million paid immediately and 2 million next year). Meanwhile, a four year contract worth 2.7 million EUR net per season plus bonuses. Gonalons will join an already stout midfield trio of Daniele De Rossi, Radja Nainggolan, and Kevin Strootman. The likely departure of Paredes will already have a replacement, and the announcement of Pellegrini should also be forthcoming for Monchi and Roma.
