Ronaldo praises Allegri and says Champions League 'cannot be an obsession' for Juve

Cristiano Ronaldo spoke in an interview with Portuguese newspaper Record of which we already brought a part to you. In this part, he discussed the influence of Massimiliano Allegri, his return to the Old Trafford in the group stage of the UCL and a possible final against his former team Real Madrid.

"Allegri's words? I am happy to hear that my contribution is appreciated by the coach and my teammates. I have been received fantastically from the first day. I try to restore trust and support with work and with what I can give to the team. The results have been good but the season is long and we want to keep winning and playing well," he said.

"Manchester? It was a great comeback, the Manchester fans have always welcomed me like when I played at Old Trafford. Even the Santiago Bernabeu was my home for many years and will always be a very special stadium for me. I will always have a great affection for that club and those fans with great pleasure and I expect to be well received.

"Champions League final against Real Madrid? For now, I imagine a Juventus qualification to the quarterfinals. We must think step by step. Experience has taught me that everything is possible in the Champions League. Obviously, it is a dream to win the trophy for Juventus but we cannot make it an obsession," Ronaldo concluded.
