Ronaldo snubs Ballon d’Or ceremony: Griezmann taunts CR7

Atletico Madrid and France star Antoione Griezmann spoke to media after the Ballon d’Or award last night. The Frenchman was voted as the third best player of 2018 and, unlikely Cristiano Ronaldo, attend the ceremony.

Le ‘Petite Diable’ sent a message to CR7 after the award: “When I was informed about the third placement I just wanted to stay on my own. But in the end I was still among the finalists, so I decided to come here”, Griezmann said.

“I’m here for respect of other candidates, I hope I will replace Modric soon."
