    Rui Costa rejects Fiorentina offer

    Benfica director of sport Manuel Rui Costa has rejected an offer by his former club Fiorentina to cover the same role at the Artemio Franchi.

    The Viola legend met new Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino yesterday, but the former AC Milan trequartista refused to move to the Franchi outfit, opting to remain at Benfica instead.

    Fiorentina will now try to appoint Martin Jorgensen as their new sporting director.
