    Rumours of Gabigol return to Santos

    Inter striker Gabigol is being liked with a stunning return to Santos, according to reports coming from Brazil. The promising striker has only played 16 minutes in all competitions so far this season and many clubs are rumoured to be interesting in taking the striker on loan in the January transfer window.

    Besiktas are said to be interested in signing the 20-year-old striker on a 18-month loan, whilst Serie A strugglers Pescara and Empoli want him on a six-month loan.
    According to Brazilian paper Lance, however, Gabigol’s entourage have made contact with the player’s former club to offer the striker’s services.

    Gabigol’s agent Wagner Ribeiro has denied reports that Gabigol’s entourage have asked Santos to return to the club.

    If Gabigol won’t be given any more game time in December, however, he’s going to ask to leave Inter to get more game time and a return to Santos would be one of the player’s favourite options for the future.
