Sarri makes salty comment about Premier League fixture list

Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri has shown dissatisfaction and lack of understanding towards the Premier League and its way of scheduling fixtures after mid-week European competition matches.

The former Napoli man complained about this aspect of English football in his post-match press conference after drawing 0-0 against West Ham. He said: “I do not know why in England you cannot play on Monday after an away match in the Europa League. In Italy it is normal”.
