Sarri reveals why he doesn't like Wembley and claims Chelsea need to improve 'one thing'

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri spoke to media after the Blues’ 3-1 defeat against Tottenham at Wembley.

The Italian tactician has only lost two games since his arrival in England, both in the same stadium (against Manchester City and Spurs).

Italian papers have analyzed the defeat of the Blues highlighting the words of Sarri after the game.

The former Napoli boss complained about the pitch at Wembley but did not want to find any excuse for the Blues’ first Premier League defeat in Champions League this season.

“I don’t like this stadium”, Sarri said.

“It’s like the Olimpico in Italy, too dispersive.”

Speaking about the reasons for Chelsea’s defeat, however, Sarri said: “I’ve always said we have problems and today we showed them all”, Tuttosport quotes.

“We need to improve when we face teams with this effectiveness. Penalty on Hazard? I prefer to speak about the other 93 minutes.”

“It’s clear that we have problems at the beginning of the game. Today our opponents jumped on us at the very beginning of the game. Physically, we didn’t do a good game and this had an impact on a tactical leel.”
