Dejan Savicevic has issued a chilling warning to former club Milan, who he thinks "are behind other clubs in their quest to return to greatness".

Two seasons without football have taken their toll on both the club and the fans, though Sinisa Mihajlovic has done a decent job so far, and is now riding a wave of 10 games unbeaten. 

Savicevic, in all fairness, took care to point that out: "Mihajlovic is obtaining great results. Both the club and the fans think that something is missing, but I have to say that he's doing well, he's racking up the points.

"If he manages to climb a couple of places and guarantee a presence in Europe next season, it would be even better".
