Serie A elite look at Man Utd for transfer reinforcements: who stays and who leaves

Ashley Young is a player who has attracted interest from Roma and has a contract with United that expires at the end of the season, but as it seems, the Englishman wants to remain at the Old Trafford and extend his agreement with the Red Devils.
Anthony Martial is in a similar situation at the club, with the player's contract expiring in June. However, his situation is slightly different, as United have an option to extend his contract for another year. But in the case that he will not want to prolong his agreement for a longer period of time, Juventus and Inter could ponder a move for the Frenchman.
Paul Pogba, on the other hand, has a long-term contract at the Old Trafford, but his relationship with coach Jose Mourinho is not ideal and Juventus are looking to secure a return of the French midfielder to Turin, but a deal in January seems difficult and unlikely and a summer move is more probable.
Eric Bailly is another player who is not getting enough playing time for United this season and has attracted interest from AC Milan, with the club in need of defenders amid an injury crisis that has seen Romagnoli, Caldara and Musacchio out of action for a lengthy period of time.
Ander Herrera also has an expiring contract and the Spanish midfielder is a target for Inter, who are looking to improve their midfield department next summer and the possibility is there, as talks for a renewal have been stalled for some time now.
And to end the list of targets, Matteo Darmian, who has been a target for almost all major Serie A teams for some time now, also has a contract expiring at the end of the season, with Juventus and Inter showing interest, as the stage seems to be set for a duel between Marotta and his former club on the transfer market.
