At the Goalkeeping position, Skorupski had a strong game as he kept a clean-sheet and made a few key saves for Empoli in their 4-0 win over Pescara. At the wing-back spot, D'Ambrosio and Pasqual have the best ratings of the week at that position as they both helped their respective clubs offensively and defensively. What more to say about the Caldara and Masiello partnership at Atalanta, they had a great game for the Bergamo side as they formed a fomidable duo. Caldara kept impressing pundits as he yet again scored a great looking goal this week for his team. He is already attracting the interest of many big clubs.
Saponara and Brozovic are in the team of the week as well since they played very efficiently and helped in the transition game very much so too. On the wings, Ljajic and especially Salah were special. Ljajic scored one goal and added an assist for Torino but Salah had a game for himself as he scored all three of Roma's goals and was the best performer of the week in the entire Serie A with a 10 on 10 Whoscored rating.
Up front, Maccarone (2 goals and an assist) and Belotti (2 goals and an assist) both provided to be too good for their opponents as they helped Empoli and Torino win their respective games.
