Serie A starlet won’t complete AC Milan move this week: here’s why

AC Milan are long time admirers of Atalanta starlet Andrea Conti who has already reached an agreement with the rossoneri and has openly admitted that wants to move to the San Siro this summer.

Atalanta, however, have yet to agree the player’s price-tag with AC Milan and despite previous reports claimed the 23-year-old would have had his medical with the Serie A giants this week, today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milanlive) reveals the Italy starlet won’t complete his move to AC Milan before next week.

AC Milan are willing to pay € 22/24 million for the talented right-back plus Matteo Pessina, a product of the club’s academy. Atalanta, however, want to sign a replacement before giving green light to Conti’s move to AC Milan and that’s why the player won’t have his medical with the club before next week.

Negotiations have almost come to an end and it looks like Conti’s AC Milan move is just a matter of time.
