Serie B: Six teams sit within three points of both promotion and relegation

Sunday brought a new leader to the unbelievably tight Serie B standings. Bari currently leads the pack with 26 points, but Palermo sits just one point behind with a game-in-hand.

13 points currently separate Bari from Ascoli, the cellar-dwellers in the 22 team league. Eight teams sit three points or less from Salernitana for the Cremonese for the final promotion playoff spot. Those two teams go head to head this afternoon.

Similarly, seven teams sit three points or less above the relegation playoff zone. Six of those are also teams within three points of the promotion playoffs.
