Sevilla hand Juve transfer blow

New Sevilla director of sport Oscar Arias has released an interview with Estadio Deportivo to provide some transfer updates regarding some of Sevilla’s most wanted footballers, including Vitolo and Steven N’Zonzi. The latter is a top summer target of Juventus.

The Frenchman has a € 40 million release clause which Juventus are not willing to pay. The Old Lady would still be open to pay a similar fee but with the addition of bonuses.
Sevilla, however, are not open to meet Juventus’ needs.

“We are not planning to sell either Vitolo or N’Zonzi even if we are aware that there could be some important offers. I can confirm there have been some meetings. We are talking about important players who have had some great seasons here. People believe we are going to sell them, but it’s not going to happen. We are forced to sell nobody, if other clubs want to sign them, they must pay their release clause.”
