SHOCKER: Juventus were less Italian than Inter!

Inter Milan’s reputation about fans of the Azzurri hasn’t been the best in recent years. Often accused of not recruiting enough Italians, it looks like the Nerazzurri were able to turn the tables on everyone last night.

The wonderful JN24.it has, in fact, pointed out that the Nerazzurri actually kicked off their 2-1 win over Juventus with four Italian nationals to the Bianconeri’s three!

Milan, for their part, started nine in Friday’s win over Sampdoria.

Inter went with Danilo D’Ambrosio, Davide Santon, Eder and Antonio Candreva, while Juventus only equalized when Mehdi Benatia was replaced by Andrea Barzagli, who completed the BBC, and lined up alongside Gigi Buffon.
