After multiple reports that had finalized a move for Dani Ceballos to Real Madrid, As.com reports that there are a few difficulties in the deal. The Betis player is expected in Madrid on Monday for medical examinations as a last formalization in the deal. Now, though it seems there could be a difference between the clubs regarding payments for the player. Betis chief Angel Haro said of the deal, “He has an agreement with Real Madrid, and at this time we’re talking it over. It will be sorted out in a matter of days or hours.”

Ceballos was a star in the U-23 European Champions for Spain this summer, attracting immediate attention from across Europe. Madrid were the first and most quickly to act for the central midfielder, as they are ready to pay 18 million EUR for the Betis player. The discrepancy between Betis and Madrid over the deal is not expected to be a major hold up, and the player is to be unveiled in the coming days. He will be the second behind Theo Hernandez, who arrived from Atletico today.
