Source: Celtic striker won't go to PSG

Moussa Dembele won’t leave to join PSG, according to reports.

The young Celtic striker has been a sensation since his arrival in Scotland in 2015, but has spent part of his season recovering from a nasty injury.

He played well enough last season, however, to warrant interest from a number of elite clubs, including Barcelona and Real Madrid, who both sent scouts to watch him in an Old Firm match.

PSG are also known to be interested. However, according to a source close to him, he won’t be going for the French time, despite the strong interest from director Antero Henrique.

“He will only leave for a project that is a clear step forward,” the source told Le Parisien, probably a hint that the young Frenchman will still be behind Edinson Cavani, and hence not get any goaltime.

Though the Uruguayan has scored 14 Ligue 1 goals and doesn’t look like he will stop soon, he seems to be playing almost every game, something unsustainable in the long run.

This isn’t the first time that PSG have been linked to the Parisian native, who attracted a lot of attention last season when he netted a hat-trick to help floor Rangers 5-1.
