Spalletti confirms he will be appointed Inter boss as Fiorentina announce Pioli as new manager

Former AS Roma boss Luciano Spalletti is travelling to China where he will sign a two-year deal with Inter. Our reporter Pasquale Guarrro was at Milan’s Malpensa airport this morning and managed to talk with the Italian tactician.

“I am happy to be the new Inter coach. We’ve shaken hands, papers are not being signed yet. It’s nice to work with Sabatini again, he has quality and it’s easy to work with these kind of people. I can’t talk too much because there will be a press conference tomorrow”, Spalletti said.

Spalletti will sign with Inter tomorrow after meeting the club’s owner Zhang Jindong.
Meantime the former Inter coach Stefano Pioli is being announced as the new manager of Fiorentina. The Italian is a former Fiorentina player and has signed a two-year- contract extension with option for another year.

A press conference will be held in Florence tomorrow when Pioli will be presented to the press.
