Spalletti: ‘Inter victim of the past’

Inter boss Luciano Spalletti commented the nerazzurri 2-1 win over Benevento.

“We must play better and we still have lot of work to do”, Spalletti told Premium Sport.

“This team is still victim of the past, that’s why we have some lows sometimes, sometimes we make some silly mistakes, we must build a winning mentality and it is only through suffering that we will do it.”

“I have five players can play as attacking midfielder, I am happy of the players I have. Inter finished the last campaign 30 points behind Champions League places, we must be ready for every game, there is still something to fix.”

“We must be more consistent but we’ve taken the right path. Eder? He has the right qualities to play alongside Mauro Icardi up front.”

Inter currently sit second in the Serie A table with 19 points in seven games. Luciano Spalletti’s side will face AC Milan after the International break.
