Sportiello: 'Italy will go all the way in Euro 2016'

Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Sportiello expressed his burning desire to fly with Italy to France 2016 today, as well as his confidence that Antonio Conte will help the Azzurri reach the final.

"I think Italy will go all the way" Sportiello told the Gazzetta dello Sport, "they're well guided, and have the right men to replace Marchisio, who is an important part of the midfield"

"I hope to fly to the Euros in France. If Conte calls me, I'll do anything for the team. Playing for one's country is a matter of enormous pride, just being mentioned is an honour".

With Mattia Perin injured, Salvatore Sirigu not even starting for PSG and Daniele Padelli flattering to deceive, some fans have been wondering why Atalanta's goalkeeper has yet to be given a chance.

The 23-year-old also had some nice words to say about colleague Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has gone from making his debut for AC Milan at 1ge 16 to being one of the most promising goalkeeping prospects in recent years.

"Milan were good to believe in Donnarumma, but he was too in making the most of his opportunity. It's the right way".
