Spurs News: Lloris’ last minute mistake gives Sweden the win

An awkward mistake by Hugo Lloris cost France the win against Sweden yesterday night. The Frenchman missed an easy pass in the middle of the pitch allowing Toivonen to strike from behind the midfield line. France’s loss allowed Sweden to join them on top of the group A. Both Sweden and France have 13 points each with the Netherlands sitting third only three points above the leading pair. Table leaders are qualified for the World Cup whilst runner-ups will have to go through the play—off stages to make it through the group state of the competition that will be held in Russia next summer.
