Tottenham believe that Christian Eriksen is worth more than Neymar.

 

Daniel Levy has just told Barcelona what Christian Eriksen would cost, if El Mundo Deportivo are to be believed. 

 

According to the Tottenham Hotspur owner, “if Neymar is worth €222 million, then Eriksen is worth €225m!”

 

The Danish playmaker is coming off a beautiful hat-trick against Ireland, synonymous with World Cup qualification, and a 5-1 win over the Republic of Ireland. 

 

He has long been considered a potential replacement for Neymar, who left the Blaugrana for €222m last summer. 

 

Incapable of signing Philippe Coutinho so far, the Cules need someone younger to boss their midfield. At 25, Eriksen scored eight Premier League goals for the North Londoners last season, adding fifteen assists. 

 

Then again, there are a few problems: Tottenham don’t want to sell the Danish star, and Barcelona are apparently both aware of this, but also pretty sure that they can’t nab him, either.
