Having parted company with Paul Clement yesterday, Premier League club Swansea City are busy searching for a new manager in the hope he can steer them clear of relegation.

According to the Mirror, the Welsh side have contacted former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal, who revealed his desire to get back into football management soon. The Dutchman is determined to prove himself again after his unhappy spell at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, other candidates with experience of managing in England are Ronald Koeman, Slaven Bilić and Tony Pulis. It shouldn’t be forgotten that the Swans have also hired the likes of Francesco Guidolin and Bob Bradley in recent years, and so a surprise name could yet end up at the Liberty Stadium.
