Szczesny reveals what he did on the day he signed for Arsenal

Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny spoke about his career during the Polish tv program "Prosto w Szczenę". The Poland International revealed what happened the day he signed for Arsenal: " I signed for Arsenal after an International Under 17 game between Poland and France. I was told that they would not only see my saves but also how I would react, how I would talk to the defenders, how I would have endured defeat. We lost the game, but I went to the opponents and talked them warmly.

Speaking about the transfers and players signed in Eastern Europe, he said: “It’s cheaper to sign players coming from this part of the world. They’re cheaper. Now you can’t sign a talent anymore, you need to sign a player that can really improve the team”.

Szczesny joined Juventus from the Gunners last season. The Poland International is now Juventus' no.1 after that Gigi Buffon left Turin last summer to join PSG.
