The Gabigol dilemma: Flamengo vice-president confirms desire to deal with Inter

Gabriel Barbora may be the only outgoing player from Inter in January. The Brazilian youngster had a good year at Santos, as he has returned to the levels of before after a dark period at Inter, and there is now an international auction ongoing for the player, with Inter looking to receive as much cash as possible from his sale.

One of the clubs most interested in the striker is definitely Flamengo. The Brazilian club, after the departure of Paqueta, want a pure talent to present to the fans. The most fierce rival? To date, West Ham has been in contact with Inter and has greater financial resources than the Brazilians.

The negotiations are ongoing and the choice of Flamengo to bet on Gabigol has been expressed by the vice-president of the club Marco Braz in an interview with Fox Sports Brasil: "Gabigol is a player under contract. We are waiting for Inter, but it is a very complicated negotiation."
