After winning the title of top scorer of MLS, Josef Martinez, Venezuelan striker of Atlanta, author of 31 goals in the regular season and 3 in the playoffs, also won the award of MVP as the best player in the MLS.
The former striker of Torino, voted by colleagues, journalists and technical staff, won against his teammate Almiron and the two legends Ibrahimovic and Rooney.
Almost 50% of the votes were for Martinez, followed by Almiron at 15%, Ibra at 12% and Rooney all 8%.
