There's a problem in Man United's quest for £50m Croatian star

Manchester United may have hit a snag in their quest to land Ivan Perisic.

Yesterday, reports emerged that the Inter Milan player was set for a move to Old Trafford for a price set in the area of £40 million.

The scorer of eleven Serie A goals and provider of eight assists, the Croatian had previously been chased by the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal, too.

The Independent writes, however, that Inter want £50m for their man, £15m more than what the Red Devils are ready to pay.

Sunsport had written yesterday that the 28-year-old had all but moved to Old Trafford on a deal worth £100,000 a week. He is very much appreciated by Jose Mourinho, a former Coach of Inter’s.

The former Wolfsburg star was signed by Inter in the summer of 2016 for £16.5m. While the Red Devils really like Perisic, Mourinho has also been linked to Willian, his former pupil at Chelsea.
