Three ideas for Juventus to replace Dani Alves

According to Tuttosport, with the acquisition of Douglas Costa ever closer, Juventus will have to give up on their efforts for Danilo and Aurier. As Douglas Costa fills the final non EU roster spot for the Bianconeri, their strategy for replacing Dani Alves at right back has taken a turn towards Europe. Now the Old Lady has three names on their list for the role of right back: Matteo Darmian of Manchester United, João Cancelo of Valencia and Ricardo Pereira of Porto. Darmian has long been admired by Marotta and Juventus, even since his days at cross town rival Torino.

PORTUGUESE CHOICES - Cancelo and Pereira are also European considerations to replace the outgoing ex Barca man Dani Alves, although they are slightly less experienced than Darmian. But that could mean they come at a reduced price compared to the versatile Italian international. For Cancelo, Juve could use their relationship with Valencia (with Neto only just confirmed) to help at the negotiation table.
