Three reasons why Pochettino is the right replacement of Zidane at Real Madrid
Last week’s reports suggested Zidane could leave the Merengues at the end of the season as the French football federation wants to hire him after the world cup.
Zidane would be open to coach his national team and Real Madrid would be in need of a new manager.
According to Marca, Real Madrid are already looking for some possible replacements of the Frenchman and Pochettino is one of the managers on top of the La Liga giants’ shortlist.
There are three reasons why Pochettino is the right man to replace Zidane at Real Madrid in the future.
The first one is that the Argentinean knows exactly how to grow players of the academy and has the skills to make them become top class footballer. It has happened with Harry Kane, Dele Alli and many other top footballers at Tottenham
Kane and Alli are also transfer targets of Real Madrid and of course having a manager that knows them well would be an incentive to leave Tottenham and join Pochettino in Madrid.
​Pochettino also embodies the rivalry with Barcelona. A former Espanyol star, Pochettino has always claimed that he could never coach the blaugrana due to his past as an Espanyol footballer and Real Madrid fans would be happy to see him sit on the Merengues’ bench after Zidane.
