Tianjin Quanjian make lucrative offer to Spanish striker & Chelsea target

The future of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata remains as uncertain as ever. The 24-year-old Spanish international seems locked in limbo after failing to secure a summer move to Manchester United and failing to be convinced by an offer from AC Milan.

Radio station Onda Cero (via Calciomercato.com) reports however, that the former Juventus man is wanted in China by Super League side Tianjin Quanjian, currently being guided by former Italian playing legend Fabio Cannavaro. It’s understood that a lucrative offer of €30M-a-season is on the table should Morata decide to call time on his career at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Despite renewed interest from Chelsea, Morata will join the rest of his current squad in the US next week as they start their pre-season training with Blues boss Antonio Conte pushing hard to try to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

Having seen his move to Old Trafford disappear however, it’s understood that he may decide to stay with his current employers and try to fight for a regular starting berth under Zinedine Zidane.
