Scoring a brace against Frosinone would allow Gonzalo Higuain to equal Gunnar Nordahl’s record of 35 goals in a single Serie A campaign.

We’d be happy, because we believe Higuain deserves it. We struggle to remember such a brilliant and complete striker playing in Serie A. He can score with every part of his body: left, right foot or headers. His attitude is the one each striker must have: he can be both be egoistic or help a teammate delivering a winning assist.

He’s simply the best hit-man this season  Serie A could offer.

At CM.com, we’ve ranked the ten best  foreign hit-men in Serie A of the last 36 years (from 1980) deciding to crown Marco Van Basten as the best striker coming from abroad in Italy top-flight. As usual, the list that you’ll see above reflects our opinion, we know someone would agree with that, someone would not.

That’s why we are also asking you to vote the best foreign hit-man in Serie A of the last 36 years. We’ve added more than only ten options, including the likes of Marcio Amoros, Rumenigge, Careca, Klose, Papin and many others.
