Tottenham chasing Newcastle striker
A host of British papers claim that the North London club have set sights on Ayoze Perez, a Spanish striker currently under contract with Newcastle.
Perez netted six goals in 34 Premier League games last term, which was obviously not enough to help Newcastle to avoid relegation to Championship last term.
The 22-year-old striker is not the only Newcastle player to be linked with an exit from the club as the likes of Georgino Wijnaldum, Andros Townsend and Aleksandar Mitrovic are also rumoured to be negotiating with other clubs after the Magpies’ relegation.
Perez is a product of Tenerife academy and moved to Newcaslte back in 2014 completing a € 2 million transfer.
