Tottenham name their price for Walker as possible successor pens new deal

Tottenham have named their price for star defender Kyle Walker who is reported to be a transfer target of Manchester City. According to reports in England, Spurs and Citizens have begun transfer talks for the highly rated England International who could be on his way out of North London in the summer.

Spurs, however, have made it clear that they won’t accept less than £ 50 million (roughly € 57 million) for their talented right-back who is, however, willing to leave Spurs to join Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City have been given transfer hope in their pursuit of the 27-year-old given that the Spurs have reached an economic agreement with Kieran Trippier over his contract extension with the North London club.

The 26-year-old is tipped to become Walker’s replacement in North London as the latter will be allowed to leave if Man City match his price-tag. Walker is also reported to be a transfer target of Bayern Munich but it believed that Manchester City are leading the race to sign him.
