Transfer blow for Arsenal, Chelsea and Juve as Madrid to keep star

Isco appears to be growing increasingly frustrated at a lack of first team action at Real Madrid, having not started a single game since Santiago Solari took over as head coach of the club after Julen Lopetegui’s dismissal. The relationship between Isco and Solari is apparently at a very poor level, leading some to believe that Isco could be making a switch to the Premier League or Serie A.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Juventus and Manchester City have been touted as possible destinations for the Spanish midfielder. However, according to the latest reports from Spanish sports outlet OK Diario, the Real Madrid board are preparing to block any sale of Isco; unless a buying team could come up with a ridiculous €700m – the current value of his release clause.

Isco’s contract with Real Madrid expires in 2022, meaning that the Madrid staff are in no rush to get rid of the Spaniard.
